Overview

The ASI metallographic specimen mounting machine is ideally suited for mounting small, 
difficult-to-handle, or irregular metallographic and petrographic specimens, facilitating 
subsequent cutting, grinding, and polishing prior to metallographic analysis, spectroscopic
examination, or hardness testing. The machine is programmably controlled and offers three 
operating modes: standard bakelite powder, electroceramic powder, and a user-defined 
option. Notably, the sample preparation program precisely controls the mounting time—a 
domestic first—enabling unattended operation during the mounting process. The ASI 
metallographic specimen mounting machine is an ideal sample-preparation device for 
laboratories at colleges and universities as well as industrial and mining enterprises.
