APPLICABILITY AND RANGE OF APPLICATION :

The ‘ASI’ Type Torsion Testing Machines are designed to test variety of materials in torsion mode. This machine applies a torque on the specimen held in its chuck and measures the torque and the angle applied through which the specimen twists. The measurement of applied torque is achieved by torque transducer and Load / Angle / Turn / Indicated on LED Indicator.

Accuracy of torque indication is : +/-1 %

This machine can conduct torsion tests on both metallic and non-metallic materials.
