Operating Principle

Twisting Load Application:
The machine applies a controlled twisting moment (torque) to the specimen. The specimens can be either round (7-20 mm in diameter) or flat (with specific thickness and width dimensions).

Torque Measurement:
A transducer with an autographic recorder serves as the torque sensor, capturing the applied torque accurately (with a resolution of 0.02 units and an accuracy of about 1%).

Controlled Rotation:
A motor rotates the specimen at a constant speed (1.5 RPM), ensuring uniform application of the torsional load. This steady application is key for obtaining reliable and reproducible test results.
