Description:

The ductility of bituminous material is the distance in centimeters to which it will elongate before breaking when a briquette specimen of the material is pulled at a specified speed and at a specified temperature. The machine has a built-in refrigeration system to work at below ambient temperature up to 10°C in tropical conditions. The temperature range is 10°C to 40°C, and the machine will operate at 27°C with a control accuracy of 0.5°C as per the requirement of IS.
